Solution
This condition will be corrected when the watch is returned to a normal temperature.
If the watch does not return to its original condition, consult the retailer from whom the watch was purchased.
Check the time zone and reselect it.
For details, refer to the “List of Time Zones (p.53).”
When a mark
is displayed near the time zone display and above the time
display in efficiency mode, Daylight Saving Time has been set.
If the setting of Daylight Saving Time is not required, change the setting to OFF.
For details, refer to “Time Zone Adjustment(p.52).”
To prevent pressing the button by mistake, the button C has a roof.
Be aware that the button C has a harder-to-press construction than other buttons.
Refer to the illustrations near each operating instruction or “Button C (p.45)” to prevent
your finger or nail from being caught in the roof.
If the time for which the buttons were simultaneously pressed is 3 seconds or more, system
reset can be performed. It is not required to start pressing all the buttons simultaneously.
For details, refer to “How to Reset the System (p.68).”
When releasing the buttons, release the button C last.
For details, refer to “How to Reset the System (p.68).”
In time setting or time zone setting operation, when 2 minutes have elapsed
since the last button pressing, a timeout will occur and the status will return
to the time display. After waiting until that status, retry the operation.
Confirm the battery life indicator mark.
For details, refer to the “Battery Life Indicating Function (p.61).”
Contact the retailer from whom the watch was purchased to
have the battery replaced with a new one.
