8. Let the water-descaler solution boil. As soon as the solution has reached its boiling level,
the device turns off automatically. The operation indicator goes out.
9. Take off the device from the kettle base (3) and slowly pour out the hot water-descaler
solution.
10. Rinse the device 3 times to remove remains of the water-descaler solution. To do so, fi ll the
device with fresh water.
11. Place again the water kettle onto the kettle base (3) until it snaps into place.
12. Turn the On/Off switch (2) to position ‘I’ to start the water kettle. The operation indicator
lights up to confi rm the start of operation.
13. Let the water boil. As soon as the water has reached its boiling level, the device turns off
automatically. The operation indicator goes out.
14. Take off the device from the kettle base (3) and pour out slowly the boiling water.
15. Repeat this process 2 more times.
16. After completion of rinsing process disconnect the water kettle from the power supply.
NOTE!
The descaling intervals for your device depend on the following
factors:
1. The degree of water hardness measured in your region.
2. The amount of water that is boiled in the water kettle.
The device should be decalcifi ed minimum every 2 months .
