T he C D player supports audio discs, C D -R , C D -R W. D o not attempt to read C D -R O M, C D i, V C D ’s, D V D s or
D ATA C D s.
No te:
E ven if this portable radio-C D player is able to read C D -R and C D -R W discs, it is not possible to offer a
100% guarantee that all C D -R / R W discs can be read; playback depends on the quality and condition of
the blank discs that you use, among other things. A playback failure does not necessarily indicate that the
unit is malfunctioning.
Position the FU NC T IO N S E LE C TO R o n C D ( the d isplay u nit briefly d isplays “- - -”).
To o pen the C D d oor, raise it by p ressing the c orner marked O PE N / C LO S E .
Insert a C D , C D -R o r CD -R W d isc, p rinted s urface facing upwards a nd g ently c lose the C D p layer door.
S tart playback by p ressing PLAY / PA U S E .
Press PLAY / PA U S E to PA U S E a nd P LAY. To s top C D p layback, p ress S TO P.
NO T E :
C D playback stops automatically when the C D compartment is opened, the radio function is selected or the
C D M P3 h as finished.
S elec tin g a d ifferen t trac k
D uring p layback, p ress NE X T o r B A C K o n the u nit to s elect a track.
If you have s elected a t rack number in S top o r Pause mode, p ress PLAY / PA U S E to resume p layback.
Briefly press NE X T to pass to the next track or press NE X T several times until the desired track number
appears in the d isplay.
Briefly p ress B A C K to return to the s tart of the c urrent track.
Press B A C K several times to find a p revious track.
S earc h in g f o r a p as s ag e o n a t rac k
Press a nd hold B A C K o r NE X T to read the track in fast forward mode with the v olume muted.
R elease the BA C K or NE X T button periodically until you have found the desired passage (normal playback
resumes a utomatically).
R ep eat
W hilst in play mode, p ress the R E P b utton o nce to p layback the c urrent track repeatedly.
W hilst in play mode, p ress the R E P b utton twice to p layback the e ntire C D repeatedly.
Pro g rammin g o f trac k n u mb ers
U p to 20 tracks can be programmed in any order. If desired, a given track can be programmed more than
once.
In S TO P mode, p ress B A C K o r NE X T to s elect a track.
W hen the desired track number appears, press the PR O G button once to record the track (the unit displays
"prog", b riefly followed b y the track number selected).
R epeat steps 1 a nd 2 to s elect and p rogram the d esired tracks.
To s tart playback of your programmed tracks, p ress PLAY / PA U S E .
T he d isplay w ill show “FU L” if you a ttempt to p rogram more than 2 0 tracks.

In S TO P mode, press the PR O G button. (the unit displays the track numbers in the order they are
programmed).
D eletin g a p ro g ram
Perform any o f the following o perations to d elete the memory:
• O pen the C D d oor;
• S elect the R A D IO s ource;
• Press S TO P twice.
• Objects inside the device: make sure that no foreign objects or liquids enter the device via the ventilation holes or
other openings. Do not put anything except a compact disc into the compartment. Keep the compartment closed
when not in use to prevent dirt and dust from entering the mechanism. Foreign objects can damage the mechanism.
Furthermore, there is risk of electric shock, damage to the device and short-circuit. In case of any emergency,
immediately pull the power plug and contact a qualified service technician.
