Mobil Test photo
This function allows you to send test photos through your mobile carrier to
your Control Centre. This allows you to check to see if the mobile push noti-
fication setting is functioning and if your SECACAM is securely connected to
your mobile network.
When using your mobile setting, we recommend utilizing the ‘Delay’,
‘Time-lapse’ and ‘Timer’ menu options. They will assist you in finding
the optimal number of photos you wish to receive.

Sensitifity
The SECACAM Raptor Mobile uses a ‘passive infrared sensor’ (PIR) which
reacts to moving heat sources. The sensitivity of the sensor can be altered
between a range of ‘High’, ‘Medium’ and ‘Low’.
If push notifications are toggled on, we recommend setting the sen-
sitivity to ‘Low’. That way your SECACAM will only be triggered when
larger objects, such as a person or a cat, is in front of the sensor.
This mitigates the problem of receiving seemingly redundant photos.
Higher sensitivity settings are more advisable if your SECACAM is in
a closed off area.
5.17 Nightmode
The Raptor Mobile has three lighting options:
Max. range: Your SECACAM will use a longer exposure time,
which is optimal for larger, scenic shots, however any moving
objects may appear blurry.
Balanced: The exposure time is shorter than at ‘Max. range’, allow-
ing the camera to more sharply capture moving objects, while also
capturing well exposed scenery.
Min. blur: The exposure time is as short as possible. Moving
objects will be very sharp, while the scenery surrounding them may
appear blurrier.
