Select the number of consecutive photos (1-5) the camera takes when the
sensors are triggered. We recommend the setting ‘5P’, as it provides the
most utility. If the motion sensor is triggered it will take five consecutive
photos with a gap of one second between each photo. This increases the
likelihood of capturing the moving object on camera. The minimum delay
period between photo bursts can be changed under the ‘Delay’ menu tab.

Video resolution
The SECACAM Raptor Mobile has three video resolution options:
• FHD = 1920 x 1080
• HD = 1280 x 720
• VGA = 640 x 480
We recommend the HD resolution setting. While FHD has slightly better
video quality, it also demands a larger amount of data storage from your
memory card.
The videos are taken in 16:9 format at 30 frames per second and are saved
in AVI format.

Video length
Specify the duration of automatically triggered video recordings between
5-59 seconds. We do not recommend recording videos longer than 10
seconds.
Note : Night-time videos consume much more battery than photographs
due to the usage of the LEDs. A photo only requires a single flash, while
videos require a consistent light source.

Delay
Choose a length of time after your SECACAM has triggered in which it can-
not trigger again and will not record new photos and videos when another
object moves in front of the sensor.
This will ensure that the camera’s memory card does not reach full capacity
with unnecessary photos. For example, this will help you avoid having sev-
eral identical photos of the same mouse, or tree branches warmed by the
sun taking up memory space and spare battery for when a burglar or eagle
happen to be in front of the sensor.
