We recommend the following procedure in order to conduct a measurement:
Wireless headphones Corded headphones
x
Switch headphones on but don´t put
them on yet
x
Set the headphones volume to „low“
(controller „VOL“ just above the
„MIN“ position); only put the
headphones on now
x
Switch the HL 50 on
with I/O-button
x
Adjust the headphones to the correct
radio frequency (controller "TUNE")
x
Press the I/O-button of the HL 50 in
order to "mute" the headphones;
the symbol appears in the display
x
Connect headphones but don´t put them
on yet
x
Switch the HL 50 on
with I/O-button
x
Set the volume to the lowest level via
the button ; only put the
headphones on now
x
Press the I/O-button in order to "mute"
the headphones;
the symbol appears in the display
x
Set the frequency filter to "ALL" with the button .
x
In order to conduct a measurement, press the I/O-button. The headphones are
reactivated and the recorded noise is played. The level of the noise is shown on the
display.
x
Change the frequency filter if needed.
x
Before every relocation of the device resp. the external sensor, press the I/O-button.
The display freezes and the headphones switch to "mute".
