Hardware Installation, Continued

3.

Remove the side panel and locate the SODIMM slot as shown in the image below.

The heat sink and both side panels have been removed to show detail.

4.

Align the memory module with the socket. The socket is keyed so that memory can only be installed
one way.

5.

Firmly insert the memory module into the socket and at a slight angle until seated.

6.

Push the memory module down flat (parallel to the motherboard) until the side latches engage the
memory module.

7.

Replace the side cover and install the three screws.

8.

Plug the system into the power source and power up the system.
