Switch the camera's focus-mode 

selector to M

Attach the lens to the camera

With the A groove on the quick 

shoe aligned with the focus-mode 

selector, fix the quick shoe on the 

camera's tripod socket

the OPEN position

Mounting the Camera in the Housing 

Align the quick shoe with the 

quick shoe base, and slide the 

camera fully forward into the 

front case

To prevent focus/zoom control 

inside front case from obstructing 

the lens gear, slide the camera into 

place as you pull the focus/zoom 

dial outward.

Be sure to release the depressed 

Release mode dial lock button 

before setting the camera.

Pull the focus/zoom dial 

outwards.

Make sure to release the camera's focus selector lock.

Remove the strap or the LCD monitor cover from the camera, if any of these 

accessories are attached.

CAUTION

Rotate the quick lock in the 

OPEN direction (    ), and then 

remove the quick shoe from the 

front case (    )
