Calling Cards Calling Cards
Entering Calling Card Setup Calling Card Setup from Edit Location Edit Location or Add Location Add Location dialog,
automatically selects that calling card as your preferred card for that
location.
To edit calling cards
To edit calling cards::
1. Under Windows 3.1/3.11, open the Windows Control Panel Control Panel and
select Telephony Telephony. Under Windows 95, look for a TAPI Settings TAPI Settings
option within a TAPI application.
2. Click Calling Card Setup… Calling Card Setup….
3. To add a card, click Add… Add….
4. To edit a card, select it from the list box and click Edit… Edit….
5. To remove a card, select it from the list box and click Remove… Remove….
6. Enter the settings you want. You must enter a calling card name. Any
number already stored displays as asterisks (*). To replace the
number and see the digits as you type, first select the entire number
and delete it, then type the new card number. The digits display as
you type them, so ensure no one looks over your shoulder.
7. To customize the calling card's dialling rules, click Customize… Customize….
8. Enter the dialling rules for local, long distance, and international calls
using this calling card. To copy the dialling rules from another calling
card, click the Copy From… Copy From… button, selecting the existing card to
copy from and click OK OK.
9. You may create a calling card that you intend to use primarily to copy
from when creating other cards. If you want to stop this card
appearing in the lists of available calling cards in applications, check
the Display Only When Card Number Entered Display Only When Card Number Entered box.
10.When finished entering the dialling rules, click OK OK to save them.
11.Click OK OK to save the new card, or Cancel Cancel to discard it.
