REGULATOR MANUAL

This removes salt and other mineral residues that were loosened during 
soaking. Do not press the air shower button while immersing if your regulator 
is not pressurized. Pressing the air shower button at this point causes 
moisture to penetrate and requires maintenance my your SCUBA FORCE 
Dealer.. 

6.  Wipe your regulator as dry as possible and hang it on the first stage so that 

the remaining liquid from the second stage can drain off. 

7.  Turn the breathing resistance adjustment knob open (counter clockwise) this 

extends the life of the low pressure seat. 

8.  When your regulator is completely dry, pack it in a clean machine bag or in a 

sealed plastic bag. DO NOT store the regulator in an area exposed to 
extreme heat or ozone generated by electric motors. Prolonged exposure to 
extreme heat, ozone, chlorine, and ultraviolet radiation can cause premature 
damage to rubber parts and components. 

9.  Never store your regulator connected with a pressured bottle. 
10. Never use solvents, white spirits or other petroleum-based substances to 

clean and lubricate the regulator. Do not use sprays as some of the 
propellants used can damage rubber and plastic parts.
