will wet the bowl and prevent organic residue from dirtying the
ceramic sides. After using the toilet, press the switch down which
will move the waste to the holding tank and will leave the bowl
clean and dry. A black water tank level monitor on the CZone
display shows the amount of black water in the holding tank.
The Tecma head contains an integrated, high-speed turbine
grinding pump that transfers waste to the holding tank where it
remains until it is pumped out by a waste dumping station or the
overboard diaphragm discharge system.
Please refer to the toilet manufacturer owner’s manual for more
information on the operation of the marine head system.
Holding Tank and Overboard Discharge Pump
The holding tank is located below the starboard aft cockpit floor.
Review the tank level monitor on the CZone display often and
empty when needed. When the tank is full it must either be
pumped out by an approved waste dumping station through the
waste deck fitting or pumped overboard by the diaphragm
discharge pump when legal to do so. The overboard discharge
pump is in the stern bilge and discharges waste to a thru-hull
fitting in the transom at the waterline.
To pump out the holding tank with the overboard diaphragm
discharge system, activate the discharge pump on the CZone
display. Turn the discharge pump circuit o
ff
when pumping is
complete.
Note: Monitor the pumping operation as the overboard
discharge drains the holding tank and turn the pump o
ff
immediately when draining is complete.
IN MANY AREAS IT IS ILLEGAL TO FLUSH HEAD WASTE DIRECTLY
OVERBOARD. VIOLATION OF THESE POLLUTION LAWS CAN RESULT IN
FINES OR IMPRISONMENT. ALWAYS KNOW THE LAW FOR THE AREAS
IN WHICH YOU BOAT. NEVER DUMP HEAD OR HOLDING TANK WASTE
OVERBOARD ILLEGALLY.
