6.4 Calibration Procedure
Before starting the calibration procedure, the aircraft shall be put into a state
similar to flight conditions:
1. Let the engines run
2. Activate strobe and position lights
3. Move the aircraft to a place with low magnetic disturbance. Especially
avoid steel reinforced concrete.
Select “Execute installation and calibration procedures” and press “Next”.
Enter the Aircraft ID and press “Next”. The ID entered is used for records only.
Enter aircraft details. The values entered are used for records only and may be
left empty. Press “Next”.
Select “SDU” for “Misalignment correction implemented in”. The “SDU
manufacturer and model” field is used for records only and may be left empty.
Press “Next”.
