Hitching the machine 

 

Only carry out work on the machine when the engine is 

switched OFF, the ignition key removed and the machine 

secured against rolling away. 

 
 

Adjust universal drive shaft to suit towing vehicle when 

first attaching to or changing the towing vehicle. 

 
 

Make sure all basic adjustments are checked upon initially 

hitching the topper to the towing vehicle and upon 

changing the towing vehicle. 

 
Attach the front topper to the tractor using the slots in headstock which are 
most  appropriate  for  the  tractors  3  point  linkage.    Ensure  that  the  washers 
and lynch pins are  put into place on all 3 link pins to avoid injury to people
