Safety Instructions
To ensure safe usage of the product
Please read the instructions for use carefully prior to using the product!
1
The XTR2 may only be used with original accessories.
2
Keep XTR2 away from water and other liquids.
3
Never use the XTR2 if it functions incorrectly or has been damaged.

the carotid sinus), or from electrodes placed on the chest and the upper back
or crossing over the heart.
5
The used electrodes must not be smaller than 2 cm².
6
Any electrodes that have current densities exceeding 2 mA/cm² may require
the special attention of the operator.
7
It is only allowed to connect up the XTR2 to one person.
8
It is not allowed to use the XTR2 during operating machines or during opera-
tions which needs elevated concentration. Pay attention particulary at road
traffic.

Warning!
»
The simultaneous connection of the patient to a high-frequency surgical device
may lead to burns beneath the electrodes. Operation in the vicinity of a short
wave or microwave device may cause fluctuations in the output value of the
XTR2.
