Maintenance

Lubrication

To maintain the safe function and high quality of the chuck, it has

to be regularly lubricated.

Move the chuck into the open position. Lubricate the chuck at the

three lubrication nipples (

A

) using a high-pressure grease gun with

two to six strokes (depending on the chuck side) of SCHUNK

LINOMAX special grease at each nipple.
For optimum grease distribution, the clamping piston must travel

the entire clamping stroke several times after lubrication.

Check clamping force, repeat procedure, if necessary.

Lubricate all three segments evenly in order to avoid imbalances.
