A holding force that is too low can lead to the loss of a workpiece
and serious injury during handling.

Test workpiece suitability for each type of workpiece
separately.

Increase the holding force if necessary.

6.1 Adjusting the holding force
(Only ECG-R.)
The holding force required on the magnetic gripper is preselected
before every magnetization. To do this, the force signals IN1 – IN8
are activated (value = 1) or deactivated (value = 0) on the "Holding
force" terminal (X1, supplementary printed circuit board).
