4.9 Troubleshooting
Possible reason
1. Blown main fuse 12A
2. If fuse is ok, electronic failure
Thermal fuse on heat plate is defect or Relay
CRYDOM is defect
Temperature sensor defect or cable broken
1. Bracket, which switchs the START-Button is
deformed
2. START-Button is defect
Beeper is switched off or defect
Relay CRYDOM is defect
Setting buttons are defect
Electronic memory failure
One of the two heatins spirals is defect
Problem
The green switch glows
Display is not working
Heizplatte heizt nicht
Display shows Err. 5
Display shows Err.1 or Err. 2
Heat press does not count dow after
closing it
No acoustic signal after time elapse
Display shows Err. 6
Button doesn´t work, no settings
possible in temperature and time
The temperature on the heat press is
not the same as the temperature on
the display. The heat press is heating
to much or to less.
The temperature of the heat press
raises very slowly – 30 minutes. One
half of the heating plate do no raise
adjusted temperature. Red diode
glows
Solution
1. Replace the main fuse
2. Replace the eletronic device
Replace thermal fuse (in DTG 4-S 2 fuses)
(Instruction for the replacement can be found in
chapter
4.6 ) or replace relay CRYDOM.
Check cable to temperature sensor or replace
the temperature sensor.
1. After pressing and holding the START-
Button time information is shown, deform the
bracket a bit
2. After pressing and holding the START-Button
Time information is not shown, replace the
START-Button
Switch on the sound
( Instruction in chapter 3.1)
or replace the electronic devices.
Replace relay CRYDOM
Replace the electronic device
Reset the electronic device, Contact the service
Send the heat press to repair
