3.1 Spare parts
The life of the lamp socket is approximately 20,000 hours of operation or
alternatively approximately 20 lamp replacements.
To replace the lamp socket, first carefully pull off the lamp as described
above. Use a screwdriver to loosen the upper fastening screw of the clamp
and remove the complete component. Then insert the two cable ends of the
new base (see “3.1 Spare parts”) into the corresponding openings of the
terminal and retighten the screw. Make sure that it is firmly seated.
Put the lamp back on and press it into the holder as described above. Then
push the lamp compartment back in until it locks into place (you will hear it
click into place). Now you can plug in the power plug and switch on the light
source.
SCHOTT only guarantees proper function, safety and optimum light output
when the specified types of spare parts are used.
