1.2 Understanding induction
Induction is an effective, efficient and safe way to cook food. It works using a magnetic field to generate heat directly on the
cooking pot or pan instead of via the glass surface. It is then the cooking pot or pan that heats the glass surface.

1.3 Choosing cooking pots and pans
Most cooking pots and pans are compatible with induction heating. Only pots and pans made of glass, terracotta, aluminium
(unless it has an added base), copper, and some non-magnetic types of stainless steel do not work with induction heating.
