3.1 Cleaning & care
Be sure to unplug the appliance from the power supply.
Clean the cavity of the oven after use with a slightly damp cloth.
Clean the accessories in the usual way with soapy water.
The door frame and seal and neighbouring parts should be cleaned carefully with a
damp cloth when they are dirty.
Do not use harsh abrasive cleaners or sharp metal scrapers to clean the oven door
glass since that can scratch the surface, which may result shattering of the glass.
Cleaning tip: for easier cleaning of the cavity walls place half a lemon in a bowl, add
30ml water and heat on full microwave power (900 watts) for 10 minutes. Wipe the
oven using a soft, dry cloth.

Interference between
microwave oven and
television
Radio and television reception may interfere when
the microwave is in use. This phenomenon can also
occur with small household appliances such as mixers,
vacuum cleaners and electric fans. This is normal.
Dim lighting
During low power cooking, the light intensity may
decrease. This is normal.
Steam build up on the
door, hot air coming out
of the ventilation grilles
During cooking, steam may escape from the food.
Most of the heat is dissipated through the ventilation
grilles. However, a part can be deposited on nearby
cold parts, such as the oven door. This is normal. porte
The oven accidentally
started without food
inside.
It is forbidden to start the microwave oven without
food inside. This is very dangerous.
