Removing the transport lock
The ORTF-3D windshield is often shipped
with a transport lock installed, as this
prevents from damages in long oversea
shipping when the elastic suspensions are
overly stressed.
The transport lock must be removed before
use!
How to remove the transport lock:
a)
Remove fur or rains cover, see
chapter 7 below.
b)
Carefully remove the plastic lid
c)
Remove the foam or air bags which
are loose in the windshield
d)
Close the lid and reinstall the fur or
rain cover
