White Balancing by Individual Integration Time Control
In some circumstances, it is not possible to adjust the white
balance using the gain setting because of:
• dynamic limitations from a very intensive or weak illumination,
• undesired changes in noise level.
For such situations, an individual adjustment of integration times for the Red, Green, and Blue channels is
available, for a general description of the integration time adjustment, see section
adjustment, Integration Time (p. 17)
Check that the weakest color signal is higher
than about 70%. If necessary, adjust the
line frequency or the illumination intensity
accordingly.
Tick the box "Decoupling LF"
A
in the "Camera
Control" dialog.
Reduce the integration times for the two color
channels with the higher signals in order to align
the Red, Green and Blue channels to the same
level.
The Red channel is adjusted using the slider
"Exposure Time".
B
For the Green and Blue channels, enter the
exposure time into the respective boxes.
