Installation Instructions
Fitting SC118
Please Note: The threaded GPS bosses on the SC118 are designed for the installation of
GPS antenna and ‘Whip’ type VHF, HF/SSB, AM/FM, and cellular antenna of up to 1m in
height, that have the standard 1” x 14TPI thread as their fixing. The bosses are designed to
work with Pacific Aerials P6161/P6162 adapter for their Pro range of antennas.

Install all lights and aerials prior to fitting the SC118 to the PowerTower.
2.
Gather cables into looms and route through the nearest hole to mounting location,
then out of the holes in the horizontal arms of the SC118. The cable looms can then
be routed into one of the water tight cable glands in the back of the PowerTower.

The SC118 fits to the underside of the top plate of the PowerTower. One set of fixing
holes on the SC118 will match up with fixing holes of your Radome.
4.
With the addition of large washers to spread load use the fixings for the radar to
connect the SC118, PowerTower Top plate and Radome together. Fully tighten all
fixings. We also recommend spring washers to ensure bolts/nuts stay fully
tightened.
