9. Removal of Location Sleeve/Inlet Housing
To remove the inlet housing or the location sleeve, the following procedure
should be followed:
1. Lift up the tank cleaning machine from
the tank
2. Protect the upper magnet, on the drive
unit, from dirt and damages
3. Undo the cofferdam plug (A)
4. Undo the stopscrew (B) in the top nut
5. Undo the top nut (C) by using tool
30080
6. Use the other end of tool 30080 and
undo the location sleeve (D)
7. Change the seals and replace the
location sleeve
8.
NOTE!
Prior to remounting the inlet
housing, the O-rings inside the location
sleeve have to be protected against
damage by using some tape on the
thread of the top shaft.
9. Look through the cofferdam hole and
turn on the top nut until you have a full
view of one of the grooves in the top
shaft through the hole in the top nut.
Use the groove to lock the stopscrew
(B) into the top shaft. Use Loctite on the
stopscrew (B).
10. When changing pos. 125, remove inlet house completely.
NOTE!
Watch hands and eyes when
removing the cofferdam plug in
case of leakage, use protection gog-
gles and gloves.
