POWER REQUIREMENTS DSA3017/3217/3018/3218
The DSA3017/3217 requires 28±8Vdc at approximately 8 W. This will remain constant while the module is
operating normally. The DSA3018/3218 requires 28±8Vdc at approximately 8 W. The power requirements
for these modules increase to 28±8Vdc at approximately 35 W if the optional heater is installed. The power
requirements will drop when the module reaches the normal operating temperature. If the module is used
in an environment where the ambient temperature is 0
E
C or less, power requirements could remain high.
Power connections are made through a three pin connector located on the side of the module. The pinouts
of the connector may be found in figure 7.
