The individual marks are allocated as follows to the functions:
5.3.1 Receiving File Dump
1. Hold the Record/Shift Button down and press the Flash Button 3 (Preset
A) three times.
2. Release the Record/Shift Button; the display reads „IN“ and the device is
ready for reception. When receiving a File Dump all other functions are
deactivated. As soon as the transfer is complete or if an error occurs, the
Scanic Stage 24 returns to normal operating mode.
ATTENTION!
A received Sys-Ex Dump can overwrite all settings made for the receiving
device. To avoid the accidental receipt of Sys-Ex data by a device, switch it
off or set another MIDI channel.
5.3.2 Sending File Dump
1. Hold the Record/Shift Button down and press the Flash Button 4 (Preset
A) three times.
2. Release the Record/Shift Button; the display reads „OUT“ and the device
is ready for sending. When sending a File Dump all other functions are
deactivated. As soon as the transfer is complete or if an error occurs, the
Scanic Stage 24 returns to normal operating mode.
1. Hold the Record/Shift Button down and press the Flash Button 3 (Preset
A) three times.
2. Release the Record/Shift Button; the display reads „IN“ and the device is
ready for reception.
3. Select the desired MIDI channel by pressing the respective Flash Button
(1 to 12) (Preset A).
4. Hold the Record/Shift Button down and press the Add Kill/Rec Exit Button.
5. Release the Record/Shift Button; the MIDI channel has been saved and
you have returned to normal operating mode.

ACHTUNG!
Ein empfangener Sys-Ex Dump kann alle vorgenommenen Einstellungen
des empfangenden Gerätes überschreiben. Wenn Sie nicht wollen, dass ein
Gerät versehentlich Sys-Ex Daten empfängt, schalten Sie es aus oder stel-
len Sie einen anderen MIDI-Kanal ein.
5.3.2 File Dump senden
1. Halten Sie die Record/Shift-Taste gedrückt und drücken Sie dreimal die
Flash-Taste 4 (Preset A).
2. Lassen Sie die Record/Shift-Taste wieder los; im Display erscheint „OUT“
und das Gerät ist sendebereit. Wird nun ein File Dump gesendet, sind alle
anderen Funktionen abgeschaltet. Sobald die Übertragung abgeschlos-
sen ist oder ein Fehler aufgetreten ist, kehrt der Scanic Stage 24 in den
normalen Betriebsmodus zurück.
1. Halten Sie die Record/Shift-Taste gedrückt und drücken Sie dreimal die
Flash-Taste 3 (Preset A).
2. Lassen Sie die Record/Shift-Taste wieder los; im Display erscheint „IN“
und das Gerät ist empfangsbereit..
3. Stellen Sie den gewünschten MIDI-Kanal durch Drücken der entsprechen-
den Flash-Taste 1 bis 12 (Preset A) ein.
4. Halten Sie die Record/Shift-Taste gedrückt und drücken Sie die Add Kill/
Rec Exit-Taste.
5. Lassen Sie die Record/Shift-Taste wieder los; der MIDI-Kanal wurde ge-
speichert und Sie befinden sich wieder im normalen Betriebsmodus.
