Traffic information priority
Activating/deactivating traffic announcement priority
To activate or deactivate traffic information priority while in any audio source mode:
press button
TA
(9).
Traffic announcement priority is activated when the TA symbol is shown in the
display (5). As soon as the radio receives a traffic announcement, it will be played.
"TRAFFIC" will be shown in the display (5) while the announcement is played.
Note!
If you leave the broadcast area of a station broadcasting traffic information
whilst listening, or change to a station that is not broadcasting traffic
information, "NO TP" will appear briefly in the display (5) and a warning beep
will sound. If this happens, you can either deactivate traffic announcement
priority or tune into another station broadcasting traffic information.
If you have used the volume control to set the volume to "0" whilst listening to
the radio and then leave the broadcasting area for the previously selected
traffic information station, the radio will automatically start searching for
another station broadcasting traffic information. If no such station is found,
"NO TP" will appear briefly in the display (5), a warning beep will sound and
the radio will return to the last selected station.
If you leave the broadcasting area for a previously selected traffic information
station whilst listening to another audio source (a CD, for example), the radio
will automatically start a search for another station broadcasting traffic
information.
It is not possible to listen to traffic announcements if MUTE is active.
It is not possible to listen to traffic announcements while making a call via
Bluetooth.
