Unpack the scale carefully�
§
After unpacking the equipment, inspect the device
immediately for any visible damage that may have
been caused by rough handling during shipment�

– Load plate
– Adapter cable
Setting up the Scale
Choose a suitable location where your scale will not
be exposed to drafts, heat radiation, moisture or
vibrations�
Make sure that you read these operating instructions
carefully before connecting the scale to the power
supply�

Observe all warnings and safety precautions�

The scale must be grounded before installing
the device in a Zone 2 hazardous area� Connect the
cable to the grounding terminal (11); see illustration�

Place the load plate on the scale�
