Complete break through experiments for the target compound to
be bound on the membrane matrix. After optimization of binding
conditions of the contaminants, the purification step can be scaled
up to a larger capsule.
Recommendations:
– Maintain
– Bed height (automatically kept constant when using
capsules with 8 mm bed height)
– Linear flow (automatically kept constant when scaling within
capsules with 8 mm bed height)
– Sample concentration
– Increase (see scaling factors in the following table)
– Sample loading volumes
– Volumetric flow rate
– Membrane volume
