CAPTURING IMAGES

NOTE

œ

When a picture is taken with the camera held vertically, the image played back on the LCD
monitor screen or on a TV set will be shown on the side. However, images captured in the still
image shooting mode or sequential shot shooting mode can be rotated when they are played
back (see pages 98 and 102). In addition, if images are played back with the auto rotate
playback function set (see page 119), even pictures taken with the camera held vertically will be
played back automatically rotated. Note that video clips cannot be rotated when they are played
back.
