Adding an Event to the Scheduler
Your Scheduler helps organize your time and reminds you of important events.
To add an event:

From the Standby mode, press Menu/OK to display the main menu.

Calendar
and press Menu/OK.

Highlight the day you want to add an event to by using the Navigation key and press
Menu/OK.

From the event list display, press
Options
(right softkey) to display the options.

Add Event
, and press Menu/OK.

Schedule
Event
, and press Menu/OK.

Select the box under the following event details, and press Menu/OK.

Description
Entering a description of your event (up to 14 characters).
l
From
Scheduling the start time.
l
To
Scheduling the end time.
l
Location
Editing the location of your event (up to 14 characters).
l
Alarm
Select your desired setting from
Beep
,
Voice Alarm
or
Off
.
l
Alarm Time
Editing the alarm time (number of hours or minutes before the event
starts). Default alarm times are 10 minutes.
l
Repeat
Repeating the event. Select
None
,
Daily
,
Weekly
,
Monthly
, or
Yearly
.

Press
Save
(left softkey) to schedule the event.
Event Alerts
There are several ways your PCS Phone alerts you of scheduled events:
l
By playing the alert tone.(Depends on the setting Alert and Key Volume.)
l
By blinking the LED.
l
By displaying event’s description on the LCD.
l
By lighting backlight of LCD. (Depends on the setting Backlight.
Event Alert Menu
When your phone is turned on and you have an event alarm scheduled, your phone
alerts you and displays the following options. To select an option, highlight it and press
Menu/OK

(right softkey) to display the options.

Highlight an option and press Menu/OK
l
Snooze
to repeat the alarm in ten minutes.
l
Erase
to delete the event (even if it is a repeating event).
