Check number of lamp to be replaced on Lamp Status Display.
Loosen 3 screws on Lamp Cover and remove Lamp Cover.
(See right figure.)

Loosen 2 screws and pull out Lamp Assembly to be replaced
by grasping handle.

Turn off a projector and disconnect AC Power Cord. Allow a
projector to cool for at least 45 minutes.

Replace Lamp Assembly with a new one and tighten 2 screws.
Make sure that Lamp Assembly is set properly

Follow these steps to replace lamp assembly.
Replace Lamp Cover and tighten 3 screws.

Connect AC Power Cord to a projector and turn projector on.
Reset Lamp Replacement Counter. (Refer to section "Lamp
Counter Reset".)
( Do not reset LAMP REPLACEMENT COUNTER when lamp
is not replaced. )

NOTES ON LAMP REPLACEMENT
To maintain quality of picture (better balance of color and brightness in entire screen), we recommend replacing
all 2 lamps at a time.

Lamp assembly is
safety significant parts. For continued safety,
replace for the following lamp assembly.

When it continues using further the lamp over which the use term passed, it
may cause the burst of the lamp. If it should burst, there is a possibility that
the fragments of glass are scattered on the inside of a projector. In the case of
disassembly repair, replace the lamp after cleaning, if they are scattered about.

Do not reset LAMP REPLACEMENT COUNTER when lamp is not
replaced.
Failure to observe this caution, as a result, it will become to continue using
further the lamp over which the use term passed. It may cause the burst of the
lamp.

Don’t operate a projector while any of lamps is removed. It may result in
malfunctions, fire hazard, or other accidents.

IGHTEMPERATURE
The lamp and its neighborhood are high temperature during lamp lighting.
The hot state continues for the time being, after turning off the lamp. Be
careful not to receive the scald in the case of the disassembly repair near the
lamp. After turning off the lamp and leaving it for at least 45 minutes (Natural
cooling), we recommend performing replacement of the lamp.

HANDLE WITH CARE
!
Do not drop a lamp assembly or touch a glass bulb! Glass can shatter and
may cause injury.
