HOLIDAY SET setting
Days such as designated national holidays and company holidays
are treated in the same way as normal weekdays. Naturally timer
recording is carried out in the same way for these days, but if you
set the HOLIDAY SET setting to “SET:ON” in the menu timer
settings and then specify the dates for the holidays in this menu
screen, the same sort of timer reservations can be made for
holidays.
Note: For a timer setting make sure that you make the time
settings for Sunday (SUN) before changing SET to “ON”.
Example: To set 17 November as a holiday

Press the MENU button to select HOLIDAY SET, and then
turn the shuttle dial clockwise.
The HOLIDAY SET sub-menu appears, and the cursor moves
to the line 1.

Turn the shuttle dial clockwise.
“– – ” (day) flashes in the line 1.

Use the jog dial to change from “– –” to “17”, and then
turn the shuttle dial clockwise.
“– – ” (month) flashes in the line 1.

Use the jog dial to change from “– –” to “11”, and then
turn the shuttle dial clockwise.
The cursor moves to the line 2.

Follow the same procedure to set other holiday dates.

Press the EXIT/OSD button.
The display returns to the normal screen.
