(1) I ns ert a s ta n dard (mi nus ) s crewdriver i n to the s lot o n
the lower s ide of the s i gn al receivi ng un it a n d pry
off the back ca s e a s s how n i n Fi g . 7-14.
(2) The wire ro u ti ng at the s i gn al receivi ng un it
come s o u t of the u pper ca s e (thi n portio n at
u pper ce n ter) s o us e n ipper s or a s imilar tool to
c u t o u t a n otch beforeha n d lar g e e n o ug h for the
remote co n trol cable (optio n ) to pa ss thro ug h a s
s how n i n Fi g . 7-15.
( 3 ) Remove the wire, which i s co nn ected prior to s hip-
pi ng , from the co nn ector.
(4) Co nn ect the remote co n trol cable (optio n ) to the
s i gn al receivi ng un it co nn ector a s s how n i n Fi g . 7-16
after the clamp ( su pplied) with the un it i s i ns talled.
(5) After arra ng i ng the wiri ng o n the pri n ted circ u it
board a s s how n i n Fi g . 7-17 s o that it i s co n tai n ed
withi n the s i gn al receivi ng un it, attach the back
ca s e. At thi s time, arra ng e s o that the head of the
clamp face s the s ide.
(6) Remove the cover plate a n d i ns tall the s i gn al
receivi ng un it us i ng the 2 wood s crew s .
(7) Fa s te n to the wall us i ng the cord clip ( su pplied).
( 8 ) Rei ns tall the cover plate.

ceili ng , i ns tall by us i ng the carrier for ceili ng i ns tal-
latio n su pplied with the un it.
