15.2 - DAILY CLEANING
Cleaning the taps
• Clean the taps (1) and (2)
(and particularly steam
tap (2)) thoroughly at the end of the day (and also
immediately after each use as described in the
Dispensing water and Dispensing steam para-
graphs) to avoid crusts and
bacteria that may clog
the holes of the dispenser and to prevent different
types of drinks that have been previously heated
from altering the taste of the drinks currently being
heated.
Cleaning the dispensing unit
• Clean the head (3), cup gasket (4) and filter holder
guide of dispensing units (5) with a cloth/sponge
and a soft brush.
•
Rinse filters and filter holders in hot water and a
special detergent to melt the fat residues of coffee.
Cleaning the tray and cup grille
•
Remove the drain water tray (6) and clean it under
running water.
Cleaning the body
• Use a damp non-abrasive cloth on all surfaces. Do
not use products containing alcohol or ammonia
which may damage the machine components.
