Starting Up
Before connecting the switch to power and starting up, read and observe the instructions within this user guide
including Chapter 2/: General Safety Instructions.
Before connecting to power, ensure that the installation sites ground meets the grounding
requirements specified in your local, national and international region.
Ensure easy access to the power cable. If the operating environment restricts power cable
access, guarantee disconnection using a separate cut-off fixture.
To connect the switch to a power supply and turn on, perform the following:
1.
Connect a 3-pin IEC 320 power cable to each power connector(s) on the rear side of the switch.
2.
Connecting the other end of the power cable(s) to an AC mains power supply (100 VAC/240 VAC, 50 Hz to 60 Hz).
3.
The switch turns on automatically when connected to power and the PWR indication LED corresponding to the
connected AC power supply (PWR1/PWR 2/PWR 3) lights up.
The switch is only properly disconnected from power when the power cable is disconnected
from the mains power supply outlet or the switch’s power connector.
Ensure that there is no visible power cable damage.
Do not use an extension cable when connecting to power.
Mating power connector: 3-pin IEC 320 connector
