11.2.4.1. Remember the Password
It is highly recommended to keep a record of all passwords in a safe place. Forgotten passwords results in the user
being locked out of the system.
If the system cannot be booted because the User Password or the Supervisor Password are not known, see Chapter
11.5 “Updating the uEFI BIOS” for information about clearing the uEFI BIOS settings, or contact Kontron Support for
further assistance.
HDD security passwords cannot be cleared using the above method.
