For your continued safety and to reduce the risk
of injury or electric shock, please follow all the
safety precautions listed below.
• Read all the instructions carefully before
using this appliance and keep them for future
reference.
• Retain the manual. If you pass the appliance
on to a third party, make sure to include this
manual.
• Unplug the appliance from the mains socket
when not in use, or before cleaning any part of
the appliance.
• Allow the appliance to completely cool down
before cleaning.
• Never immerse the appliance in water and
always keep the electrical contacts dry.
• Never place the appliance on or near a source
of heat such as a cooker ring or gas flame.
• Always place the appliance on a dry, flat and
stable surface.
• Before using, check that the voltage power
corresponds to the one shown on the appliance
nameplate.
• Avoid contacting moving parts.
• Do not operate the appliance with a
damaged cord or plug. Return the appliance
to the nearest authorized service facility for
examination, repair or adjustment.
• Make sure the appliance is turned off after each
use. Make sure the motor stops completely
before disassembling.
• Do not put your fingers or other objects into
the juicer opening while it is in operation. If
food becomes lodged in the opening, use food
pusher or another piece of fruit or vegetable
to push it down. When this method is not
possible, turn the motor off and disassemble
the juicer to remove the remaining food.
• Do not use outdoors.
• All detachable parts must be dried completely
after cleaning.
• Do not leave the machine on unattended.
• If the mains cable is damaged it must be
replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent,
or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid
a hazard.
• Do not let the mains cable overhang the edge
of the work surface or allow it to touch hot
surfaces or sources of heat or flame.
• This appliance is intended for indoor household
use and similar applications such as:
– farm houses and by clients in hotels, motels
and other residential type environment;
– bed and breakfast type environment;
– catering and similar non-retail applications.
• Switch off the appliance and disconnect from
mains supply before changing accessories or
approaching parts that move while in use.
• Be careful of potential injury from misuse.
• This appliance can be used by children aged from
8 years and above and persons with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack
of experience and knowledge if they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use
of the appliance in safe way and understand the
hazards involved. Children shall not play with the
appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall
not be made by children unless they are older
than 8 and supervised.
• Children should be supervised to ensure that
they do not play with the appliance.
• Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of
children less than 8 years old.
• Close supervision is necessary when the
appliance is used by or near children.
• Do not use the appliance if the rotating sieve or
the protecting cover is damaged or has visible
cracks.
• Make sure the unit is earthed properly during
use. Use of any extension sockets must have
an earth connection. If in doubt, contact a
qualified electrician.
