- Programs:
The remote control comes with 4 fac-
tory-installed programs:
These programs can be modified as
desired and then transmitted to the
appliance. They can be changed as
often as you want and sent to one,
several, or all appliances in your hea-
ting installation. To change the pro-
grams, proceed as follows:
Press the button. The display shows
the flashing clock setting 00:00, pro-
gram

icon and the flas-
hing mode, e. g . Press or to
make the necessary changes and con-
firm by pressing . The time of the
next transition now flashes; press
the and buttons to adjust the time
and then confirm with .
Continue in the same way (time, mode,
time, mode etc.) until all 24 hours of
program

are programmed. Then do
the same for programs
B

C
and
D
,
assigning each program to selected
days of the week. Press and to
change the assigned days and then
press to confirm day 1 (Monday) and
move to day 2; and so on to day 7,
following which programming is com-
plete.
- Transmission:
It may only be necessary to transmit
the time setting, or the time setting and
the program.
To transmit the time setting, point the
remote control at the receiver on the
appliance and press the button. The
time digits change momentarily to indi-
cate that transmission was successful.
To transmit the time setting and the
program, first send the time as descri-
bed above; you then have 3 seconds to
press again. The flashing
PROG
indicates that the program has been
sent successfully.
- Locking and unlocking the
remote control.
To prevent accidental changes to the
appliance's settings, the remote control
can be locked and unlocked as requi-
red. To lock the remote control unit,
press , , and in succession.
The icon is displayed to indicate
that the remote control is locked, and
disappears when unlocked.
- Battery replacement indicator.
When the batteries are nearing deple-
tion a
bAt
warning appears on the dis-
play. Replace the spent batteries with
1.5V
long life alkaline batteries of type
LR03 or AAA
.
To replace the batteries, remove the
battery compartment cover on the rear
of the remote control. Dispose of the
spent batteries at a battery recycling
point.
- Battery saving function
To reduce battery consumption, the
remote control enters “sleep” mode
and the LCD display switches off after
30 seconds of inactivity.
Press any button except and to
reactivate the remote control. The LCD
display lights up.
