5.2.4 WATER HEATER CONNECTION (MARKED "DCA" OR "DCB" IN UNIT CODE)
The unit fitted with the water heater is to be connected to the heating medium by means of the 3-way mixing unit (see "Types of ESU control
units"). The water heater outlets are located on the front of the unit and are threaded. When tightening the heat exchanger connections, it is
necessary, for example, to hold the heat exchanger neck with a second wrench so that the tightening torque is not transmitted to the heat
exchanger body.

For correct connection, the direction of water flow is indicated on the housing of the unit by auxiliary labels. The exchanger must be connected in
counter-current to the flow of air passing through (in co-current connection, the exchanger loses approx. 25 % of its output). I.e. that the heating
water inlet is always on the far side from the air inlet on the front surface of the exchanger - see. following image.
