Troubleshooting
If the computers cannot find each other:
•
Check that the cables are correctly
connected and that you are using the
correct cables.
•
Check that the ”LNK/ACT” LED on the
network card is on. If this is not the
case or if the LED is not lit continuously,
you should try replacing the network
cable.
•
Check on the
“Identification”
tab in
the network settings on all computers
that all the computers on the network
are configured with different computer
names. See the section on
“Configuring
the Computer Name”
for the relevant
version of Windows.
•
Check that the IP addresses are cor-
rectly configured. See the section on
configuring the TCP/IP protocol.
•
Download any new drivers you may
need from Sandberg's website at
www.sandberg.it.
