II. Description of Each Setup
System Setup
The setup structural chart is as follows:
TV System
Select according to the connected TV color system
As for the multiple system television, you may select
„AUTO” item;
As for the NTSC system television, you may select
„NTSC” item;
As for the PAL system television, you may select
„PAL” item;
As for the PAL60 system television, you may select
„PAL60” item.
Initial value setup is: AUTO.
SCREEN SAVER
It starts the screen protection function. When the unit
is in a state of pause, open or no disks or static frame for
60 seconds or so, there will be screen protection pictu-
res. The screen protection is used for prevention from any
damage done to the screen.
On: Starts the screen protection.
Off: Cancels the screen protection.
Initial setup is: On.
VIDEO(Video Output)

t: In the time when the DVD player
uses Y, Cb and Cr Video wires to connect the televi-
sion, you may select this item.

TV-RGB
: In the time when the DVD player uses S
terminal or compound video output to connect the
television, you may select this item.
3.
P-SCAN
: In the time when the DVD player uses Y,
Pb or Pr video wires to connect the television and to
switch the television over to scanning by lines, you
may select this item.
4.
PC-VGA
: In the time when the DVD player uses VGA
video wires to connect the television or the display
and to switch the television over to scanning by lines,
you may select this item.
5.
S-VIDEO
: In the time when the DVD player uses S
terminal or compound video output to connect the
television, you may select this item.
