SAFETY INFORMATION
Caution
: The lightning flash with arrowhead symbol,
within an equilateral triangle, is intended to alert the user
to „dangerous voltage” and to prevent from a risk of elec-
tric shock.
Caution
: To reduce the risk of electric shock, don’t open
the cabinet. Refer servicing to qualified personnel only.

: The exclamation point within an equilateral
triangle is intended to alert the user to important operating
and maintenance (servicing).
ENVIRONMENT
Please observe the safety remarks in the operating
instructions
The DVD should only be transported in their original
packaging, or in other suitable packaging which pro-
tects them from jolts and knocks.
Condensation can arise when player are transferred
from a cold environment into a warm room. Allowed
the soundsystem to climatise to the ambient tempe-
rature, and ensure that they are absolutely dry, befo-
re they are used.
Ensure that the local mains voltage is 230 V/50 Hz.
Ensure that the mains socket is freely accessible.
Do not use the player in wet rooms.
Conduct the cables in such a manner that they can-
not become a hazard (tripping) or be damaged. Ob-
serve the corresponding remarks in the instructions
when connecting the DVD.
Ensure that no objects (e.g. metal paper clips, etc.)
or liquids can enter the interior of the player (electric
shock, short circuit).
Immediately switch off the player and disconnect
them from the mains in emergencies (e.g. damage to
speaker case, controls or power supply line, or in the
event of foreign bodies or liquids entering the player).
Any repair work must be carried out only by qualified
and authorized technicians.
Always switch off the player and disconnect them
from the mains before cleaning them. The speaker
case surface should be cleaned with a dry cloth. Gri-
me can be removed with a moist cloth that has been
dipped into water with a mild detergent and then tho-
roughly wrong out.
Disc care
Disc Usage
Please hold all discs by their edges or the center
opening as shown below. Do not touch the shiny sur-
face of the discs.
Do not stick labels or tape on the discs, and do not
scratch or damage the discs.
The disc spins at a high speed during playback. Do
not use damaged, cracked, or warped discs because
they could damage the unit.
