IP Remote control
Allows IP control devices to remotely access
and adjust your Ultra HD Blu-ray player’s
system and settings.
Select
HOME > Settings > General > Network
> IP Remote > Enable .
✎
We recommend turning IP Remote on only if
an authorized third-party custom controller
is installed and configured specifically for a
Samsung Ultra HD Blu-ray player and if your Wi-Fi
network is password protected.
✎ When IP Remote is set to Enable ,
WoL/WoWLAN (Wake on LAN or Wake on Wireless
LAN) also turns on, and this increases standby
power consumption.

Compatibility between an unauthorized controller
device and your Ultra HD Blu-ray player cannot be
guaranteed.
✎ IP Control requires professional installation.
EX-LINK (RS-232) control
Allow RS-232 control devices to remotely
access and adjust your Ultra HD Blu-ray
player’s system and settings.

When using this function, the UART baud rate for
the RS-232 Controller Device should be set to
9600 bps.
✎
Compatibility between an unauthorized controller
device and your Ultra HD Blu-ray player cannot be
guaranteed.
