Call Screen

While an incoming call is being recorded, you can hear the message
through the speaker on the base. If you decide to take the call, use the
speakerphone on the base or press

key on the handset to talk to

the caller.

If you turn the call screen feature off, the base speaker turns off while an
incoming call is being recorded. You cannot hear the caller’s voice
through the speaker. It is preset to ‘ON’ at the factory.

Setting Morning Call On/Off

You can set the phone to sound an alarm at a specified time everyday.
The alarm will only sound on the base for 3 minutes unless you press
any key on the base. The feature is preset to ‘OFF’ at the factory.

To Set the Morning Call

1. Press

key to enter the menu mode.

key to set the time. The hour digits blink.

6. Enter the time by using the key pad on the base in the same way that

you would for time setting.

key to set the current setting. When the phone returns to

the Standby mode, you can see the icon in the LCD window.

Notes:

• If you try to set the morning call on under the condition that you have

not set the day and time, your phone goes into the time setting menu
so that you can set the day and time.

• You cannot adjust the volume of the alarm sound.
• To stop of alarm before the time is up, press any key on the base.
• If you are on the line at the time specified for the morning call, the

alarm does not sound.

• There might be a time difference of a few minutes per year.
