SETUP SCREEN
To set virtual line based rule
1. Set < IV analysis function > to
< Enable >.
2. Set the type to < Line/Area/Scene
Change >.

The virtual line based rules can be specified
only if the intelligence video analysis type is
set to <
Line/Area/Scene Change >.
3. Set the event rule to < Virtual line based rules >.
4. Click on both starting and ending points for the line on the screen to display the popup
dialog.
5. Select a desired < Virtual Line Based Rules >.
• Right : A movement from left to right in the virtual line will be detected.
• Left : A movement from right to left in the virtual line will be detected.
• Both : A movement in any direction in the virtual line will be detected.

Up to 3 event rules can be defined for area based rules and defined virtual line based rules.
6. Click [ OK ].
To cancel the existing line, right-click on the line to display the popup dialog and
select [
Delete ] in the context menu.
7. When done, click [ Apply ( ) ].
To set defined area based rule
1. Set < IV analysis function > to
< Enable >.
2. Set the type to < Line/Area/Scene
Change >.
3. Set the event rule to < Defined area
based rules >.
4. Click a corner point of a desired area in
the video to display the popup window.
