Chapter 5
CLI (Command Line Interface)
settime y,M,d,h,m,s
Function
The user manually sets the system time.
The system time is important for the CDR information. If you set the time using
'settime,' the system changes the time on its own, so the time can be erroneous.
(The error is about 5 seconds per day.) Therefore, accurate time must be
maintained by setting time during system booting or on a periodical basis.
Procedure
At the SMG-3200 prompt, type 'settime' and a space. Then type the year, month,
day, hour, minute, and second in that order, and press [Enter].
For example, if you want to enter 2002, February, 21
st
, 10am, 40 minutes, and 00
seconds as the system time, type 'settime 2002,2,21,10,40,0' on the screen, and
press [Enter] to set the system time as follows:
SMG3200:165.213.81.230> settime 2002,2,21,10,40,0
>>> Old Date: Thu Feb 21 10:43:35 2002
>>> New Date: Thu Feb 21 10:40:00 2002
value = 0 = 0x0
