Using Email
Email enables you to review and create email using various
email services. You can also receive text message alerts
when you receive an important email.
Creating an Email Account
1. From the Home screen, tap Email .
Your accounts screen displays with the Email setup
screen.
2. Enter you email address in the account@example.com
field.
3. Enter your password in the Password field.
4. Tap Show password to view the password as it is
entered.
5. Tap Next .
6. At the prompt, tap the account type.
7. At the Account options screen, tap the Email check
frequency drop-down list box and select how often to
check for incoming email.
8. Tap any of the other options you would like to create a
checkmark.
9. Tap Next .
10. Enter a name for this email account (optional).
11. Tap Done .
Creating a Microsoft Exchange Email Account
Use the following procedure to configure your phone to
synchronize with a Microsoft Exchange email account.
1. From the Home screen, tap Email .
Your accounts screen displays with an Email setup
screen displayed.
2. Enter you email address in the Email address field.
3. Enter your password in the Password field.
4. Tap Show password to view the password as it is
entered.
5. Tap Manual setup .
6. Tap the Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync field and enter
the Exchange server information, then tap Next .
7. At the Activation prompt, tap OK .
The Account options screen displays.
8. At the Remote security administration prompt, tap OK .
9. Enter the desired information, then tap Next .
