Configuring 4G Mobile Hotspot

Enter or edit the
Network SSID

Security

as needed.

Designating allowed devices
1.
From the Home screen, touch

4G Mobile Hotspot

Tap
Allowed devices
.
3.
In the Allowed devices list, select the devices you want
to allow to access your mobile Wi-Fi connection.
Adding a new allowed device

From the Home screen, touch

4G Mobile Hotspot

Tap
Allowed devices

3.
Tap the Add device icon at the top of the screen.
4.
Enter the Device name.
5.
Enter the MAC address. Tap
OK

Activating Your 4G Mobile Hotspot
1.
From the Home screen, touch
Apps
➔
4G Mobile Hotspot

2.
Touch and slide 4G Mobile Hotspot
to turn
on the 4G Mobile Hotspot access.
3.
Tap
OK
.
Connecting another Device to your 4G Mobile Hotspot
Use the other device's Wi-Fi control to connect to your
phone's Portable Wi-Fi Hotspot.
Tip:
In order for other devices to connect to your Portable Wi-
Fi Hotspot, add the device to your Allowed devices or set
your device to allow all devices to connect.
1.
Activate 4G Mobile Hotspot on your phone. For more
information, refer to "Activating Your 4G Mobile
Hotspot" on page 109.
2.
Locate SCH-R530m in the 4G Mobile Hotspot list.
3.
Enter <phone number> as the password to connect to
this phone.
4.
On the other device, scan for Wi-Fi hotspots, and select
your phone from the list.
