6. Create your event, as described in steps 4 to 13 of "To add an event to
today’s calendar:" on page 53.
Event Alerts
There are several ways your phone alerts you of scheduled events:
•
By playing the assigned ringer type.
•
By illuminating the backlight.
To select the ringer:
1. Press for Menu .
2. Select Settings > Sounds > Ringer Type .
3. Select Schedule .
4. Press the navigation key up or down to select the desired ringer
category.
5. Press the navigation key up or down to select the desired ringer or
melody.
6. Press to save.
Viewing Events
To view your scheduled events:
1. Press for Menu .
2. Select Tools > Calendar .
3. Select Scheduler .
4. Select today’s date, if it is not already selected, or scroll to the desired
date to view that day’s events. Press the left softkey for View .
To view your scheduled events monthly or weekly:
1. Press for Menu .
2. Select Tools > Calendar .
3. Select Scheduler .
4. Press the right softkey for Options .
5. Select View Type .
6. Select Monthly or Weekly using the navigation key and press to
confirm.
